[Review] Geo Bella Brown on light eyes!

Happy New Year, guys!! ♡○♡

My winter break from university started out on a rough note and I ended up having strep throat and being confined to my bed and hospital rooms for the majority of two weeks. It sucked but luckily my break is just over a month long and I got better in time for Christmas!! That being said, I'm finally feeling 100% better and, now that I have the time and energy, I can give you my first review on here!!

I'm going to review my favorite pair of circle lenses so far: Geo Bella Brown!!

Picture from the Candylens website

This review isn't sponsored, and I bought these lenses off of the website Candylens. They are by far my favorite place I've ordered lenses from. I have ordered from PinkyParadise three times before for a total of five pairs of lenses, and have honestly had nothing but problems from them. I know they have extremely positive reviews so I'm not sure if it's been bad luck or what, but Candylens was so great, I can't see myself going back to PP soon.

These came shipped the same way all my other lenses have. They were sent in little glass bottles that were bubble wrapped very securely. They also sent me a cute lil' frog case for my lenses and a pair of tweezers to help get the contacts out of the case. I don't wear contacts normally (I usually wear glasses) and am still very new to the world of circle lenses so I didn't realize how helpful having these special tweezers would be! I'm super thankful that Candylens sent me some.

Now for some pictures of the lenses in action!!

Super bright light from a window. My pupils are tiny but still look how natural these lenses look!! And you can really tell how well they blend with my lighter green eyes.

♡Comfort: 9/10
  • I already mentioned that I hadn't really worn contacts before these. I had a few pairs of circle lenses before, but I was never happy with the way they looked on me, because I tend to favor more natural looking lenses, so I didn't wear them often. There was discomfort immediately after putting them in, and after a while my eyes ached, but that is probably normal.
  • Again, this is probably only me because I haven't worn contacts much (and honestly, I have a slight..... thing.... about touching my eyes? It weirds me out, idk!!!), but I struggle a lot with putting these in. It usually takes me about ten minutes.
  • I wore these for around 9 hours one day at university and they didn't start feeling odd until about hour 8, which I consider pretty great.

♡Design:10/10
  • As you can see, I have pretty light green eyes that have some blue in them. In certain light, they can look more grey, blue or green. This time around when ordering lenses, I wanted something that would blend really well with lighter eyes, look more natural, and be suitable for daily wear. These were exactly what I was looking for.
  • I live with four boys who don't understand makeup and usually would think things like circle lenses are "weird" and it took them four days of me wearing these for them to notice, and when they did, they all freaked out about how cool and pretty they looked, so that was pretty hilarious.
  • They are honestly just beautiful lenses, and great for anyone with lighter eyes looking for a more natural, but still very pretty, lens.

♡Enlargement: 10/10
  • I didn't think these things would make my eyes look any bigger, because they're only 14.2mm, but whoa. They make my eyes look huge and very doll-like, which is impressive from such a small lens. But compared to other lenses, the enlargement looks like it's my own eye, and it's not obvious that I'm wearing lenses.

♡Service: 10/10
  • Okay, here's where it gets even better. I ordered these same lenses from PinkyParadise first and got a ton of confusing emails about why they couldn't send me these lenses (they were out of stock, when I said I'd wait they said the new lenses had tears [all of them?? really??]), and when I said I just wanted a refund and not a different pair of lenses it took almost five days for them to email me back and my refund to go through. I understand they're halfway across the globe but the whole thing took near two weeks to sort out.
  • I looked for another place that offered these, and discovered Candylens. They sent my order very, very fast, I got a confirmation email from them and my receipt almost immediately, and a tracking number emailed when my order shipped.
  • They sent me a really cute thank you note with my order, which was super nice.
  • Plus, compared to PinkyParadise, Candylens's 8 day shipping was the same price as PP's which would have taken almost 20 days! So that was a huge bonus.

♡Overall: 9.5/10

  • I love these things!! I still probably have to get used to wearing contacts more often, and it'll take more practice to get used to putting them in and wearing them, but I would honestly wear these every day if I could.
  • I'm looking into getting the same lens in more colors, that's how much I love them!!

That's it!! I hope this helps some of you out and let me know if you have any questions!! I hope you all have a great start to the year!!
